Oil & gas: Addis Ababa remains on the lookout for a supplier to replace ADNOC

After Ethiopia tightened the awarding conditions of its annual supply contract, which is currently held by Abu Dhabi National Oil Co (ADNOC), just two trading companies submitted bids: Vitol and Trafigura. Due to the inadequate number of bids, Addis Ababa cancelled its call for tenders last week and immediately launched a new selection process, according to Jeune Afrique Business+.

After putting an end to its call for tenders this past week, Ethiopian Petroleum Supply Enterprise (EPSE), the national oil and gas importer, decided to renew the process to find a supplier.
