Founded in 1792, Cigna Corporation has decided to shift gears in Africa and combine its African markets with the Middle East region. To head up the new division, the Philadelphia-based insurance company has appointed a sector expert, Jérôme Droesch, who has been responsible for the Middle East and North Africa region since February 2019. With this move to combine Cigna’s operations from Casablanca to Cape Town, the scope of responsibilities of the graduate of Ecole Centrale de Lyon has been expanded.
