Mary Teuw Niane gets promoted to Petrosen’s Board of Directors
Macky Sall’s irremovable Minister of Higher Education was appointed in early May as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrosen Holding. His arrival comes as the government agency undergoes tremendous change.

Société des Pétroles du Sénégal (Petrosen) Holding has a new Chairman of its Board of Directors: Mary Teuw Niane, the former Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation within the government of Macky Sall (2012-2019). He is replacing Abdourahmane Seck, the Senegalese president’s brother-in-law.
