Genevieve Sangudi, co-founder of Alterra Capital Partners, to continue to work for Carlyle
The team at the Carlyle Sub-Saharan African Fund (CSSAF) has reached an agreement with the Carlyle Group to establish Alterra Capital Partners, an independent private equity firm, but which will take over the management of the fund.

The new entity, Alterra Capital Partners, will assume management of the fund, which closed at $700m in 2014, as sub-advisors for Carlyle starting from 1 July, according to our sources.
