“Morocco is an important investment destination, as well as a hub for investments in Sub-Saharan Africa,” explains the lawyer, who practiced for almost 20 years at Eversheds Sutherland. “Bird & Bird has a lot of old and new cases in the Kingdom, so we needed this office. We have set ourselves the goal of doubling our turnover in Africa within three years and, to accompany this growth, we needed to invest,” he says.
