Katanga Mining to transfer $150m to Gécamines by end of August

The Canadian company plans to implement the retrocession agreement reached with the state-owned company as quickly as possible, in spite of calls to delay payment for the copper mining land parcels due to accusations of corruption surrounding the transaction.
