Inside the alliance between Youssef Moamah’s CMGP and the Comptoir Agricole du Souss
Supported since 2018 by Development Partners International (DPI), Moroccan irrigation firm Compagnie Marocaine de Goutte-à-Goutte et de Pompage (CMGP) has acquired Comptoir Agricole du Souss (CAS). Launched before the Covid-19 crisis and made official on 24 November 2020, the deal was led by CMGP’s founder and President Youssef Moamah, and its CEO, Younes Al Abadan, in collaboration with Jacques Alleon, CEO of CAS, and Sofiane Lahmar, partner at DPI (formerly of JP Morgan and previously partner at Kingdom Zephyr Africa Management).
