Zouhaier Tamboura seeking cash from the EBRD for leasing firm ATL
The company, which occupies third place in Tunisia’s struggling leasing market, is negotiating a new cheque from the European institution.

After an initial gesture of support from Proparco at the beginning of December to the tune of €15m, the management at Arab Tunisian Lease (ATL) – led by Zouhaier Tambour since July – is now waiting for final approval from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for a €5m financing, equivalent to 16.38m Tunisian dinars. The loan will be subject to “normal” financial conditions, according to one of our sources within ATL.
