The country’s leading bank has just received a $150m grant from the IFC to support its loans to SMEs and its energy transition financing. “This new loan is part of a long series of collaborations between our group and the private arm of the World Bank,” Lawrence Kimathi, Group Chief Financial Officer at Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), told Jeune Afrique Business+.
