Tunisia seeks lawyers to recover Ben Ali/Trabelsi assets and property

According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, the Tunisian government is speeding up the recruitment of a law firm in charge of listing the Tunisian state’s assets and property looted by the BenAli/Trabelsi clan around the world.

Ali Abbès, the head of the Tunisian State Litigation Department of the Ministry of State Domain, told Jeune Afrique Business + on Monday, said, “We have entered a new era where the search and recovery of these assets have become a government priority. Within a month, we should choose the lawyers who will represent us in the world.”
