CEO Mark Cutifani confirms sale of Anglo American thermal coal assets

The Chief Executive of the diversified mining group was speaking this afternoon at the Investing in African Mining Indaba virtual conference, usually held in early February in Cape Town, South Africa.

Participating at a roundtable panel on mining investment and economic and social governance, Mark Cutifani stressed that Anglo American “must ensure that the thermal coal assets in question pass into good hands as part of a smooth transition”.
