Oryx Energies’ Moussa Diao sidelines Trafigura, Litasco and Mercuria in Mauritania
Despite the country’s economy crawling forward at a snail’s pace under the weight of the COVID-19 pandemic, a tender for hydrocarbon oil products has been secured by the Swiss trader Oryx.

According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, the Swiss trading group has won a new tender in Mauritania. Oryx Energies beat other majors in the sector, including Trafigura, Mercuria, Sahara, BB Energy and Litasco, and signed a third consecutive deal to supply Nouakchott with hydrocarbons.
