Vivendi‘s subsidiary obtained an FTTx licence for 20 years from the DRC regulator at the end of 2020, valid throughout the country. This authorisation allows the company, specialising in the provision of high-speed internet connections, to bring its fibre optic network closer to users. According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, the Vivendi Africa Group (GVA) paid $500 000 to get this precious concession.
