Burkina Faso: Eric Bougouma in talks with local banks to raise CFA F 200 billion
According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, the Burkinabe Minister of Infrastructure has opened negotiations with local institutions to mobilise CFA F 200 billion (€305 million) needed to finance major road projects.

“We are going to raise resources to the tune of CFA F 200 billion (€305 million), intended to feed the Special Road Maintenance Fund to finance the construction of new roads, such as the one linking Tenkodogo to the town of Ouargaye, on the border with Togo,” Eric Bougouma, holder of the infrastructure portfolio, told Jeune Afrique Business+.
