Togo: Majority shareholder of the Otam shipyard is looking for a buyer
Based in Lomé, the second largest shipyard in French-speaking Africa behind Carena (a subsidiary of the Bolloré group in Abidjan), is looking for a new shareholder.

“We are in discussion with several potential buyers, but nothing has yet been signed,” said Gilles Calmès, the 61-year-old Frenchman who is the majority shareholder. He has spent 39 years of his career in Africa, first at Carena and then at the Togolese Maritime Assistance Open (Otam).
