Siengui Ki calls for a new EOI to study for Côte d’Ivoire–Liberia power interconnection project

The Burkinabè Secretary-General of the West African Power Pool has again called for expressions of interest to study the line layout and environmental and social impact of the project intended to strengthen the 225 kV WAPP interconnection between the two States.

The contract is part of the Electricity Networks Interconnection Project (CLSG) connecting the electricity grids of Côte d’Ivoire, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea at a total cost of 331.51 million units of account ($476.7 million).
