A possible funding source is the International Finance Corporation (IFC), after a review by the bank’s board next June. The advance will be part of the expansion plan for MSC’s logistics and inland transport subsidiary Medlog. MSC, founded in 1970 by the Italian-born Gianluigi Aponte, currently Group Chairman, is controlled by the Aponte family. His son Diego Aponte is Group President.
