Head of SUNU Assurances Vie in Abidjan bows out
The local CEO of the group, founded by Pathé Dione, is stepping down. A close colleague will take over.

After three years in office and solid performances (leader in the segment with 30% of the market share), Saliou Bakayoko has finally quit his post as General Manager of SUNU Assurances Vie Côte d’Ivoire. According to Jeune Afrique Business+ sources, Bakayoko, who has been involved in the insurance business for the past 40 years and is a former president of ASACI—the association of insurance companies in Côte d’Ivoire—has retired.
