CDC has bet over $300 million on Absa over the last in two years

The British donor has just released a new facility of $50 million for the pan-African bank, using new instruments.

“We had two facilities in place with Absa: a trade finance loan and a risk-sharing facility, also for trade,” Jo Fry, investment director and head of intermediary credit for CDC, told Jeune Afrique Business+.
