From Johannesburg, the Englishman Ian Ferrao, ex-director of Vodacom in Tanzania, who officially took over the reins of the East African region in September 2019, leads an entity that accounts for 36% of Airtel Africa‘s total entrepreneurship and has over 53 million users.
