Benin: President Patrice Talon endorses SBIN capital increase
The public operator, now managed by Sonatel, sees its funds increased from CFAF 100 million to CFAF 50 billion in anticipation of its 4G services launch in early 2022.

One of the line items in Benin’s Council of Ministers meeting on 27 October, the capital increase of the Beninese Digital Infrastructure Company (SBIN) was validated by President Patrice Talon.
