Sahel Pharma Industrie launches pharmaceutical manufacturing project

According to Africa Business+ sources, the Burkinabe pharmaceutical group has raised CFAF 10.5 billion in financing to construct an industrial unit to manufacture medicines.

While the Burkinabe drug market is currently estimated at nearly CFAF 120 billion per year (€183 million), supplied mainly by imports of inputs and consumables, Sahel Pharma Industrie is launching into pharmaceutical production.
