Sahara Energy – part of Sahara Group – eyes Petroci’s butane gas business
Sahara Energy, an arm of the Nigerian Sahara Group, is interested in acquiring the butane gas activities of the Ivorian state-owned company Société nationale des opérations pétrolières de la Côte d’Ivoire (Petroci).

Several majors and multinationals are also interested. But, according to Africa Business+ sources, discussions with Sahara Energy are well advanced, and a closing by the end of the year cannot be ruled out.
