Nouakchott pays US$20 million for Toguna and Ameropa to supply fertiliser

Mali’s Toguna teamed up with the Swiss giant to supply the Mauritanian government as tensions persist in the global fertiliser market.

Toguna Agro-Industries, which has annual revenues of $178.42 million, and AMS Ameropa Marketing and Sales AG, which has sales of $6.42 billion in 2020, won a $20.68 million contract to supply agricultural inputs to the Mauritanian Food Security Commission (CSA).
