Oryx Energies’ Moussa Diao considers exiting Nigeria

The oil products and services provider is reacting to new regulations that it views as detrimental to its continued operations in the country.

According to Africa Business+ sources, the management of Oryx Energies, headed by Moussa Diao, is mulling an exit plan from the continent’s most populous state. The company has not yet launched discussions to sell its operations but, according to sources within the company, a bidding process is favoured to identify the future buyer.
