Green bond: FMO invests $100 million to underwrite Scatec’s Benban Solar Park
Another European institution has agreed to participate in the landmark issue for the massive Egyptian solar plant.

Although this type of instrument is still uncommon on the continent, Scatec ASA‘s green bond issue is attracting lenders. After the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) – which announced its participation last January – it is the turn of the FMO to take part in this operation intended to refinance the Benban Solar Park in the Aswan region.
