Sonatrach in discussions with Occidental Petroleum to extend licences
A preliminary agreement has been signed for the renewal of blocks. It paves the way for the alignment of several blocks on the same 25-year extension.

American oil company Occidental Petroleum‘s (Oxy) management recently signed a memorandum of understanding with state-owned Sonatrach extending its production sharing agreement for an additional 25 years.
