Expanded DRC-EITI forces industrial loggers to declare revenues

Some 80 operators involved will have to declare the area of forest exploited, their turnover and the amount of taxes and royalties paid to the Congolese government. Known industrial forestry companies in the DRC include Industrie forestière du Congo (Ifco), Société de développement des forêts (Sodefor), Forabola, Compagnie forestière et de transformation (CFT), Booming Green, Bego Congo, Congo Sun Flower Forestry Development, Congo King Baishing Forestry Development (Cokibafode), Kitenge Lola (KL), Fodeco, Groupe Service, Somifor.
