Kiro’o Games targets $11 million for development, including from Afreximbank

The Cameroonian video game creation studio has not completed its crowdfunding campaign to raise $1 million and is seeking a $10 million bank loan, including from Afreximbank and its creative industry support fund, to finance its further development.

“We want to remain independent. Bank financing seems more appropriate to us than a series A, as initially envisaged,” Olivier Madiba, co-founder and CEO of Kiro’o Games, told Africa Business+.
