Ismael Belkhayat and Sophia Alj seek €30 million for Chari
Elected “disrupter of the year” at the last Africa CEO Forum held in Abidjan from 13 to 14 June, the 38-year-old entrepreneur has initiated discussions with investors for a series A round of financing by the end of the year.

While Ismael Belkahayat claims his start-up Chari – co-founded with his wife, Sofia Alj – achieved an average growth of 10% each month, the Moroccan entrepreneur is looking to complete the first series A round of financing. According to Africa Business+ sources, they are looking to raise €30 million by the end of 2022.
