EBID : George Agyekum Donkor obtains $2 billion capital increase
The project to raise EBID’s authorised capital is part of the 2020-2025 strategic plan deployed by the Ghanaian since he took over as head of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) donor more than two years ago.

The decision to increase the capital of the ECOWAS Bank for Investment and Development (EBID) from US$1.5 billion to US$3.5 billion was taken unanimously on 27 October, in Praia, at the 10th extraordinary session of its Board of Governors.
