Barrick’s CEO Mark Bristow wants to make Lumwana and North Mara/Bulyanhulu Tier One assets

The gold giant, present in 18 countries worldwide, operates 13 mines, four of which are world-class (Tier One), including the Loulo-Gounkoto complex in Mali and Kibali in DR Congo in Africa.

And the African continent is indeed to continue playing a crucial role in Barrick Gold Corp‘s super-profit centres strategy. The plan was announced by the group’s president and CEO, Mark Bristow, at an “Investor Day” presentation in New York on 18 November.
