Advisers to Gridworks-Virunga Power transaction
The power grid specialist Gridworks, wholly owned by British International Investment (BII), announced a $50 million investment in Virunga Power, a developer of hydroelectric projects in East and Southern Africa. Africa Business+ provides the inside story.

The project, announced on 20 December, mobilised several councils and has been in preparation for more than two years. According to Africa Business+ sources, finalisation will be before the end of June this year.
