HDF Energy is a group based in Bordeaux, specialising in hydrogen. It markets installations combining renewable electricity production (solar, wind), electrolysers and storage (hydrogen and batteries, “renewstable” offer), and a service that uses hydrogen, whether carbon-based or not, by converting it into electricity via fuel cells (“HyPower” offer).

In Namibia, in Swakopmund, the group has launched the development – with a budget of €181 million – of an 85 MWp photovoltaic power plant coupled with a hydrogen production plant. This gas can be converted into electricity.
