Africa Water Infrastructure Development (AWID) aims to develop, finance and operate climate-resilient water projects and increase access to water across the African continent through drinking water supply infrastructure, desalination plants and wastewater treatment plants.

AWID is 60% owned by Metito Utilities Ltd (MUL), a subsidiary of Metito Holdings and 40% by British International Investment (BII).
