The investment and financial advisory firm led by managing partner Caleb Dengu has mobilised Energy China (China Energy Engineering Corporation) to develop a 1,000 MW floating solar farm on Lake Kariba in Zimbabwe. The project, initiated and coordinated by CDF Trust and Consulting BV, is valued at $987 million.

“We are in the process of bringing together institutions around this project, including possibly TD Bank as an advisory bank. The project will be syndicated through the Africa Investment Forum (AIF), so African banks will mainly finance it,” Caleb Dengu told Africa Business+.
