Lithium in DR Congo: tribunal to arbitrate AVZ Minerals and Kinshasa case
The Australian junior brought the case before the ICSID in June, accusing DR Congo of failing to meet its obligations under the mining code. Co-founder of the Paris-based law firm GBS Disputes, Mohamed Shelbaya, was appointed by Kinshasa. Discussions are also continuing with the government, according to AVZ.
