Globeleq appoints a finance and project specialist as its new CEO
Unlike his predecessor who trained as an engineer, the new CEO of the Africa-focused independent power producer boasts a wealth of practical experience in managing and financing power projects in emerging countries.

Globeleq’s current Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer, Mike Scholey, takes over as Chief Executive Officer following the resignation in July of Paul Hanrahan who is returning to the United States to pursue career interests. Mike Scholey will take up his duties on 1 January 2020 while Paul Hanrahan will join the Globeleq board as a Non-Executive Director.
