Inga III Dam: Johannesburg meeting scheduled for the project’s consortium members
As a new report sheds light on disagreements among the promoters behind the huge hydroelectric project in DRC, discussions are due to be held within the next fortnight. Jeune Afrique Business+ explains.

China Inga III and ProInga, the two groups selected by the Congolese government for the development of the Congo Inga III hydroelectric project, are due to meet in Johannesburg in the margins of the Africa Investment Forum held from 11 to 13 November 2019. According to our information, the Agency for the Development and Promotion of the Grand Inga Project (ADPI), which is tasked with the management of the project and led by Bruno Kapandji Kalala, and the African Development Bank (ADB), headed by Akinwumi Adesina, will also attend the meeting.
