Ascoma trials its new agricultural risk insurance in Africa with Agricorp (Monaco Resources)
The Monaco insurance brokerage group, controlled by the Juthon Husson family and present in 24 African countries with revenues of €47m ($52m) in 2016, is developing new products.

This new range of solutions is being rolled out under the supervision of Laurent Gizardin, former executive at AON and Marsh, and current International Business Development Manager at Ascoma International, the group’s business unit based in Paris. It houses the firm’s African desk and coordinates its activities abroad. Another business unit, Ascoma Health & Benefits Management/Pactilis, specialising in complementary health insurance schemes and general insurance for individuals, is based in Casablanca.
