Dangote looks to Lafarge for its new CEO, Michel Puchercos

To mitigate the departure of the group chief executive officer, the firm has recruited its new top executive from one of its competitors.

Nigeria’s leading cement company, Dangote, is putting on a new face. The group has announced the arrival, as from 1 February 2020, of Michel Puchercos, who until now was Chief Executive Officer at Lafarge Africa, Dangote’s cement market rival in Africa.
