Schlumberger, SRL Consulting and Beicip-Franlab have been shortlisted to optimise Grand Tortue/Ahmeyim production in Mauritania

The contract is part of the programme to support gas project negotiations and develop the capacities of Mauritania’s institutions (PADG).

Mauritania’s Minister of Petroleum, Energy and Mines, Mohamed Ould Abdel Vetah, shortlisted three companies for the contract to assist his administration, as well as the country’s hydrocarbon and mining company Société mauritanienne des hydrocarbures et du patrimoine minier (SMHPM), to review the development plan for phases 2 and 3 of the Grand Tortue/Ahmeyim (GTA) gas project. This programme aims to set up installations to increase production capacity for the offshore project, which is controlled by BP (62%), Kosmos Energy (28%) and the Mauritanian state (10%).
