Agriculture: Karim Sy joins SOS Sahel to raise €90 million
The Senegalese serial entrepreneur, founder of Jokkolabs and former member of Emmanuel Macron’s Presidential Council for Africa heads Digital Africa, an initiative endorsed by the French President.

Against this backdrop, he is joining, via Digital Africa, a new initiative spearheaded by the NGO SOS Sahel. According to Jeune Afrique Business+’s sources, the two partners hope to develop a hundred or so multipurpose agricultural centres across countries in the Sahel. These centres, six of which were already inaugurated in Burkina Faso in addition to ten more in Mali, are open to all stakeholders interested in the agricultural industry, particularly digital players.
