Mazars in Senegal, Grant Thornton Senegal and the Mauritanian consortium BUMEX/Netaudit/EC2F were shortlisted last week to create a manual of administrative, financial and accounting procedures for the Mauritanian-Senegalese unit. The jointly run entity is responsible for implementing the tax and customs rules and regulations applicable to subcontractors working on the Grand Tortue/Ahmeyim gas project that straddles the border between the two countries in the high seas.
