Microfinance: ACEP negotiating with Orange and Airtel in addition to restructuring
To speed up its growth across Africa, the microfinance specialist is consolidating its regional branches within a holding company and is considering new products.

After fifteen years of business for ACEP International, its CEO Thierry Perreau, with whom Jeune Afrique Business+ met in Paris, plans to create a new dynamic within the microfinance company, particularly with regards to the products it has on offer. “We’re thinking of flash credit, for example. It could be made available within just a few hours,” explains the CEO. He also believes that the company needs to take advantage of digital opportunities.
