In the middle of a lockdown, and as the South African economy stalls, Siza Mzimela has been appointed to lead Transnet Freight Rail (TFR).

The company forms the main operations division of the state-owned South African logistics and port group Transnet, supervised by the influential Minister of Public Enterprises Pravin Gordhan.
