Ahmed Elsewedy brings in Christian Wright (formerly of Globeleq) to head Elsewedy Energy IPP
The Egyptian multimillionaire recently entrusted the UK national with the reins of a subsidiary focused on electricity development projects in Africa.

After spending more than four years as Managing Director of Business Development for the energy producer Globeleq, Christian Wright is joining the Egyptian group Elsewedy Electric – which reported around $2.65bn in revenue in 2018 – to head the subsidiary Elsewedy Energy IPP. Mr Wright took up his post last April in Dubai, where the subsidiary’s headquarters is located.
