ABCI/BFT expropriation dispute: Tunisia recognises ICSID tribunal since the lifting of seizure orders on STB assets
Requests in August 2019 for precautionary seizures on the assets of Société Tunisienne de Banque (STB) were lifted at the end of 2019.

The preliminary figures, as estimated by an independent expert which ABCI Investments solicited, on the damages the investment firm sustained in the expropriation of its 53.6% stake held in Banque Franco-Tunisienne (BFT) in 1989 are also about to be released shortly, according to our sources in Tunisia.
