Bank of Africa increases its stake to 78% in Ugandan subsidiary
The transaction was carried out via a share exchange with FMO, but was spurred in particular by AFH’s agreement to sell a portion of its minority stake to the Moroccan banking group.

Before entering the scope of Bank of Africa Group (BOA Group) in 2006, Bank of Africa Uganda (BOA Uganda), with assets in the neighbourhood of 800 billion Ugandan shillings (€187m), was known as Sembule Investment Bank Ltd.
