Wendel closes its Casablanca office and suspends future investments in Africa
Along with other major investment firms worldwide, Wendel ultimately struggled to find opportunities in line with its investment criteria on the continent, and has confirmed that it will refocus its efforts in the European and North American markets going forward.

The entity listed on Eurolist (Euronext Paris) has been gradually reducing its investments in Africa over the past few years, with its exit from Saham in 2018 and later PlaYce (retail) in 2019, not to mention its lack of new acquisitions.
